Synacor will deploy Cloud ID Social Login for in-home and mobile TV Everywhere access for DISH subs under a deal with the provider. The service allows customers to access content with their social media accounts like Facebook, Twitter or Google+. Synacor’s Cloud ID identity management platform, which DISH has been using, allows authentication services for TVE, messaging, value added services and mobile apps. The company recently launched its white-label auto authentication offering.
