Mitel, Vidyo Inc. and VMware unveiled a new, integrated solution combining UCC and video conferencing with VMware View. Specifically, Mitel and Vidyo integrated Mitel’s virtualized Unified Communicator (UC) Advanced client software and the VidyoConferencing collaboration solution with VMware View to deliver a single, unified solution they say enables collaboration over any medium while delivering reduced costs, increased security and simplified management of virtual desktop infrastructure…Axxera has integrated AirTight Networks’ wireless intrusion prevention system (WIPS) into its Axxera Central Intelligence Platform for security compliance monitoring and wireless security management. The two say customers now have access to an integrated wireless security solution that can be combined with other security tools and efficiently managed by Axxera Central Intelligence.
