Internet, Cable & Phone wrapped its $1.5 billion acquisition of Knology Inc. WOW! CEO/board chairwoman Colleen Abdoulah remains in her position, while Steven Cochran was named WOW!’s president. Former Knology President/CFO Todd Holt is CFO, reporting to Cochran…Canada’s Redline Communications Group Inc. received and shipped a $2 million order for its rugged industrial wireless system to an unnamed “major” oil and gas company. The system is being deployed in south Texas and in North Dakota, providing communications between drilling rigs and the centralized control offices…China Mobile International Limited, a subsidiary of China Mobile, inked a non-binding MOU with Clearwire to develop an international roaming program between China and the United States using TD-LTE. The carriers believe this deal will serve as the template for future roaming agreements with other members of the Global TD-LTE Initiative.
