Applied Broadband, a research and development advisory firm, today announced the availability of its Pipeline Universal IP Detail Record (IPDR) engine. Pipeline addresses cable operators’ need to collect, process, normalize and distribute massive amounts of IPDR data for visiblity into their networks, devices, services and subscribers’ overall experience.

Now generally available, Pipeline has been selected as the IPDR collection layer for a major U.S. cable operator and a global communications technology vendor under an OEM agreement, the company said. It is part of Applied Broadband’s library of software, emulators and components licensed alongside the company’s professional engineering services.
