More on CMTS SNR
In last month’s column I discussed carrier-to-noise ratio (CNR) versus cable modem termination system (CMTS)-reported signal-to-noise ratio (SNR). CMTSs that use Broadcom’s 3137 upstream burst demodulator silicon are capable of providing an upstream SNR estimate.
