For the second year in a row, Facebook beat out Twitter for the number of hashtag mentions of advertisements during the Super Bowl, according to this article from Techspot. The tally, referred to as the “Hashtag Bowl,” was put together by Marketing Land and counted the number of social media mentions from 56 national ads–28 of which had their own hashtags.

The number of references to social media during Super Bowl commercials is in and for the second year in a row, Facebook earned top honors. In its fourth annual Hashtag Bowl, Marketing Land counted the number of social media mentions during the big game.
