Zombies, Football Top Cable Ratings for 18-49s

The Walking Dead’s” return on AMC ranked as the most-watched cable program last week among 18-49s, averaging 9.4mln viewers, according to Nielsen. The Season 6 premiere fell short of Season 5’s debut, which averaged nearly 11mln viewers in the 18-49 demo and 17.2mln total viewers. Sunday night’s episode averaged 14.6mln for live plus same day viewing.
Other top programs among the 18-49 demo last week was Monday Night Football on ESPN (6.6mln) and FX’s premiere of the latest installment of “American Horror Installment” (3.8mln).
