Whether it’s unlicensed or licensed, we need more spectrum. And now. That was the theme of the Sen Commerce subcmte’s hearing on wireless Tues, and while much centered on the expected incentive auction, members—especially subcmte head Mark Pryor (D-AR)—also focused on using more unlicensed spectrum/WiFi, a concept supported by cable.
