Univision Communications’ president of news and digital and CEO of Fusion Isaac Lee got a promotion to a newly created position: Chief News and Digital Officer. Lee will now also oversee multicultural nets, including the digital venture Flama, El Rey Network and The Root, Deadline reports. He’s also going to develop a music strategy among Univision’s live events and radio.

This is a bump up for Isaac Lee, a Columbia-born journalist who had been Univision Communications’ President of News and Digital as well as CEO of Fusion, a 50-50 joint venture with Disney created in 2012 to develop English language news and lifestyle TV and digital content.
