AMC’s “The Walking Dead” is still the top show among 18-49s, with episode 2 of the new season averaging 7.8 million viewers in the demo, according to Nielsen.

The zombie series had a healthy lead over ESPN’s Monday Night Football match-up on Oct 12 (5.7mln viewers for Pittsburgh-San Diego) and CNN’s Democratic debate coverage (4.6mln). While TWD ranked #1 for the demo last week, there were plenty of sports telecasts in the top 10.
