No surprise that the most-watched show last week (Aug 17-23) for 18-49s went to Sunday’s premiere of “Fear the Walking Dead” on AMC (6.3 million viewers in the demo). The live+same day premiere drew 10.1mln viewers total, making it the number 1 series premiere in cable history for total viewers and 18-49s.

Runner-up last week for the demo was a special “Talking Dead” preview show that aired before FTWD, averaging 2.5mln 18-49s. Not far behind was VH1’s “Love & Hip Hop Atlanta” (2.2mln). Ahead of its SummerSlam event on WWE Network, WWE on USA kept its place in the top 5, with both hours averaging about 1.7mln 18-49s.
