A stock price winner last week was Sprint Nextel, which rose 8.49% to $7.03 per share according to Cablefax’s week in review of media and telecom stocks from 10/10 – 10/14. News broke mid-week that the company plans to sell approximately 10% of its spectrum to raise $3.5 billion, which sent the stock soaring. Other winners were Apple, up 3.16% to $117.66, and DISH, up 2.74% to $56.97. On the loser side, Lionsgate fell 10.73% to $18.88 a share. See the full list below.
