Best Advice in 7 Words or Less: Know your business better than anybody.
Why Him? As provocative as he is quick to return our CableFAX questionnaire (thanks Mark!), Cuban has a knack for continually defining his own success—whether hanging with the gang on “Entourage” or bringing home his Dallas Mavericks’ first NBA Championship win over the Heat last year. Which is why despite some distribution losses in the past few years—we know Cuban always comes back swinging. In fact, HDNet recently signed a multi-fight, multi-year deal with MMA outfit ProElite, and the network continues to up its 3D offerings. And in January, it announced a partnership with AEG, Ryan Seacrest Media and CAA to rebrand the net as AXS TV, a live entertainment and lifestyle programming network.
