NBCU is changing its structure, with Bonnie Hammer and Lauren Zalaznick no longer splitting the company’s cable nets. Instead, Hammer assumes responsibility for the entire cable ent portfolio (which is renamed Cable Entertainment Group) while Zalaznick was upped to evp, NBCU, focusing on innovating, digital, monetization and emerging tech. Lionsgate and Starz closed a multiyear exclusive first window theatrical output agreement on Tuesday for all theatrically released Lionsgate and Summit label films.
