NAMIC has announced the nominees for the 2016 NAMIC Vision Awards in partnership with NAMIC – Southern California. The honors achievements in depicting diversity in original and digital television programming.

This year the leader in NAMIC Vision Awards is HBO, which collected nine nominations. OWN and BET Nets got eight each, and ESPN earned seven nods.

In terms of top nominated programs, HBO’s “Bessie” and Lifetime’s “Devious Maids” each earned three noms.
