The top stock share price winner for the week of July 11 was fiber networking group Level 3 Communications, closing at $56.66, a 7.45% increase, according to Cablefax’s week in review of telecom and media stocks. A report came out midweek that said the company is considering various options, ranging from a sale to a buyback. Among the companies who might be interested include Comcast and Alphabet. Other winners include TDS, up 7.16% to $31.72 a share, and Concurrent, with an increase of 7.10% to $5.58 a share. On the loser side was AMC Networks, closing at $56.59, down 4.65% for the week. On Friday analysts from UBS announced they were downgrading shares of AMC Networks stock.
