Leading up to the 3rd season of HBO’s fantasy series “Game of Thrones” on Mar 31, the net is throwing up exhibits around the world with costume displays and interactive experiences. The Backwater Bay Interactive Experience, for instance, is designed to place fans amid the action of series’ epic battle at Blackwater Bay from season 2. There’s also the Iron Throne. Fit for any king or queen, fans can take their photo on a precise replica of the iron throne from the series.

The exhibit in NYC will be open from Mar 28 to April 3, free of charge to the public. A trove of more than 70 original artifacts from HBO’s “Game of Thrones” season 1 and 2, plus select pieces from this year’s new season, will be showcased. The exhibit will also tour cities such as Toronto, Sao Paulo, Amsterdam and Belfast. (ED NOTE: We’ll have more on the exhibit in CableFAX Daily once it’s up.)
