Cablevision‘s changing things including its guide to its brand to even subscriber metrics. The rebranding is meant to signal the changes to CVC’s customer base, according to CEO Jim Dolan. The planned rebrand of Optimum is set to launch later this month. A preview of Onyx can be seen on Cablevision’s tablet TV watching app, which just expanded to the Kindle Fire.

FCC Order on DISH Designated Entities

The FCC made it official Monday, releasing an order on remand finding that SNR Wireless LicenseCo and Northstar Wireless are controlled de facto by DISH and thus ineligible for the $3.3bln in AWS-3 bidding credits they sought.
