Crystal Ball – Policy Outlook Mostly Positive for Cable?

It’s never easy to predict how regulatory changes will affect cable, but one thing we do know: Timely confirmations for both FCC chair nominee Tom Wheeler and Republican commish candidate Michael O’Rielly are likely, with Senate Commerce head Jay Rockefeller (D-WV) saying he plans to schedule committee votes soon and will “push for quick consideration on the Senate floor.” Here’s what we think will be on the Hill’s agenda heading into ’14.
