It’s “Fridate” night. So in case you need it, here are some dating tips from Bravo’s "Millionaire Matchmaker" Patti Stanger. The woman screens hundreds of women and men until she finds the perfect pairing, so some might say she knows what she’s talking about. When trying to get dating dos and don’ts through her clients’ thick skulls, she gets creative. But sometimes having a good date night could entail things as simply as making reservations and staying on neutral subjects. Of course, first you need to ask somebody out. (Ask, not text!)

Here are a few dos and don’ts (and the links to her videos), according to Stanger:

For men: Do’s and Don’ts. Have a plan, make reservations, and stay on neutral subjects. Ask the girl out. Do not text.

Where to pick up women? You gotta go where women go. Spiritual classes, get a mani-pedi, and go shopping!

For women: The biggest problem with women is that they accept dates they really don’t want.

Where to pick up men? You gotta go where the men go. Try to get floor seats to a basketball game. Another great place to meet men is The Palm restaurant and every major city has one.

We’ve saved the best for last: Patti’s Best Kept Secret is traveling alone to your favorite or local bar.
