Mireille Enos is one of those actresses who won’t be ignored. She tugs at our attention and doesn’t let go—and yet her subtle performance in AMC’s haunting “The Killing” is so understated at times that it’s almost feels as if we’re slipping into a trance. A look from Enos can speak volumes or nothing at all. A twist of her head can signal revelation or distress. The narrowing of an eyelid can tell us all that she’s just put together another puzzle piece as she tries to solve Rosie Larsen’s murder in Seattle’s rain soaked and murky landscape. When it comes to Enos, one thing’s for sure: We’ve noticed.
