The outpour of stories and remembrance for Rocco Commisso will be on display this week and beyond. Visitation arrangements began Monday, though a second visitation will take place today from 4-8pm at the Vander Plaat-Vermeulen Memorial Home in Franklin Lakes, New Jersey. Commisso’s funeral mass will be held at St. Patrick’s Cathedral in NYC on Wednesday starting at 10am. A stream can be viewed on YouTube here or via the Church’s website. There will also be a memorial service in Italy next week at the Duomo di Firenze—Cattedrale di Santa Maria del Fiore. The service will begin Monday at 6pm local time. Instead of flowers, Mediacom is directing donations made in Commisso’s memory to Hackensack University Medical Center, Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center and/or Columbia University Medical Center.
