As EVP of Marketing at 4C, Kunal Merchant uses his rich background in social media to introduce the company’s social data intelligence to brands and agencies. This role includes finding innovative methods to help utilize the company’s rich data set in cross-channel applications. Merchant’s role at 4C has grown from leading business development and sales, which included guiding the company’s revenue goals and playing a critical role in establishing and developing partnerships with companies like VivaKi/Publicis, Facebook and Twitter.
Merchant‘s diverse and creative leadership background includes experience as co-founder, music director and producer for Music Without Borders, and founder and director of strategy company, Etiquette Creative – which was later acquired by 4C. He also served as director of marketing at Exclusively.In, the first global Indian e-commerce/flash sales brand commonly known as the Gilt for Indian fashion and home decor. Additionally, his previous roles as an art director and brand strategist help communicate 4C’s story to a diverse set of clients.
He holds his degree from the University of Texas in Advertising with a minor in Business Administration.
