Welcome to Cablefax’s 2017 Trailer Awards, which recognize the most effective and buzz-worthy trailers promoting theatrical movies, TV shows and series, mobile and web content, the latest releases in the world of gaming and e-sports, branded content and beyond.
This is your chance to gain recognition for promos and sizzle reels that entice viewers to watch and engage with their favorite shows, movies, video games, web content and consumer brands. This program covers both creative categories as well as nuts-and-bolts marketing metrics related to tune-in, engagement, sales and overall reach, allowing all the departments that contribute to well-packaged trailers to receive worthy recognition for this vital yet often overlooked marketing tool.

Who Should Enter
The 2017 Trailer Awards are open to all movie studios and producers, TV networks, web producers, gaming companies and producers of branded content designed to build excitement around consumer brands and services. In addition, PR, marketing and publicity firms and other partners are eligible to compete on behalf of their clients.
Eligibility Requirements
To be eligible, the trailer must have been created and/or aired between January 1, 2016 and July 31, 2017. Some of the work must have occurred during this time, but it’s not necessary for it to have been completed during the eligibility period.

How to Enter
For each entry, provide:
- Brief summary that identifies objectives, intended audience, and any unique creative elements (max: 100 words)
- Upload the Trailer or a link to view. If trailer is posted on a secure website, please provide login information.
Deadlines/Entry Fees
Entry Deadline: August 4, 2017
Entry Fees
The price of your first entry is $325. If you submit the same entry into multiple categories, the additional fee is $250. Late entry surcharge of $150 per entry. Payment in full must accompany the entry. Entry fees are not refundable.

We evaluate your entry based on the criteria listed in this awards program, including quality of website, originality, creativity and success.
- Who is eligible to win an award?
The Cablefax Trailer Awards are open to all producers of trailer and sizzle reel content, whether they hail from the land of movies, TV, gaming or consumer product branding. In addition, PR, marketing and publicity firms and other show partners are eligible to compete on behalf of their clients.
- How do I increase my chances of winning an award?
By providing a succinct summary, video clips, testimonials and other supporting material.
- When will I be notified about the status of my entry?
You will be contacted by Cablefax staff regarding the status of your entry only if you are named a finalist in the awards program.
- Is this awards program affiliated with any industry organizations?
The CableFax Trailer Awards is an independent competition unaffiliated with any other organization. Your entries are held in strict confidence by the judges and Cablefax.
