Welcome to Cablefax’s Trailer Awards, which recognize the most effective and buzz-worthy trailers promoting shows and series running around the world on cable, broadcast, mobile, the web and beyond.

This is your chance to gain recognition for promos and sizzle reels that entice viewers to watch and engage with their favorite shows (or soon-to-be-favorites). This program covers both creative categories as well as nuts-and-bolts marketing metrics related to tune-in, engagement and overall reach, allowing all the departments that contribute to well-packaged trailers to receive worthy recognition for this vital yet often overlooked marketing tool.

Who Should Enter

The Cablefax Trailer Awards are open to all cable networks and MSOs. In addition, PR, marketing and publicity firms and other show partners are eligible to compete on behalf of a cable client.

Eligibility Requirements

To be eligible, the trailer must have been created and/or aired on cable between September 1, 2014 and September 1, 2015. Some of the work must have occurred during this time, but it’s not necessary for it to have been completed during the eligibility period.

How to Enter

For each entry, provide:

  • Brief summary that identifies objectives, intended audience, and any unique creative elements (max: 100 words)
  • Upload the Trailer or a link to view.  If trailer is posted on a secure website, please provide login information.

Final Entry Deadline: August 21, 2015

All entries must be submitted by Friday, August 14, 2015. Entries postmarked between August 15 and August 21, 2015, please add a $150 late fee per entry.

Entry Fees
The price of your first entry is $325. Each additional entry into any of the various categories is $250. Late entry surcharge of $150 per entry. Payment in full must accompany the entry. Entry fees are not refundable.

    Entries are scored by the staff of Cablefax Daily. We evaluate your entry based on the criteria listed in this awards program, including quality of website, originality, creativity and success.

    You will be contacted by Cablefax staff regarding the status of your entry only if you are named a finalist in the awards program.
  • Is this awards program affiliated with any industry organizations?
    The CableFax Trailer Awards is an independent competition unaffiliated with any other cable organization. Your entries are held in strict confidence by the judges and Cablefax.
