Top Cable Programs (18-49) – Week of 9/13/10

The ratings goliath that is ESPN’s “MNF” returned the week of Sept 13-19 to easily lead cable in delivery among 18-49s (live+SD), and the franchise will likely dominate the top spot throughout the season. The net’s season-opening doubleheader averaged 7.72mln in the demo, several Peyton Manning TD passes ahead of MTV’s “Teen Mom 2” (2.71mln) and History’s “Pawn Stars” (2.70mln) in 3rd and 4th. Next was HBO’s new hit “Boardwalk Empire” (2.67mln), followed by MTV’s “Jersey Shore” (2.65mln) and an additional ep of History’s “Pawn” (2.64mln). E!’s “Keeping Up with the Kardashians” (2.62mln), FX’s “Sons of Anarchy” (2.37mln) and History’s “American Pickers” (2.31mln) completed the top 10. (Data provided by Nielsen)
