Sprint Top Media Stock Last Week
Sprint was a big stock price winner for the week of March 28, according to Cablefax’s week in review of media and telecom stocks. It closed Friday up 11.35%, at $3.63 a share. The news Thursday that Sprint will be allowing customers to purchase Amazon Prime through their monthly plans at $10.99 may have influenced the stock share price. Other winners include CSG Systems, with a 8.52% increase at $45.84 a share, and Shentel, closing at $27.70, up 8.16%. On the losing side, TiVo declined 4.44% to $9.03 per share, and Addvantage closed at $1.87 a share, down 3.61%. See the full chart below.
