CNN owes a weighty debt of gratitude to President Obama, whose inauguration day festivities powered the net to solid 18-49 delivery (live+SD) during the week of Jan 19-25. 4 of the net’s coverage blocks hit cable’s top 10 among the demo, led by the 3.49mln garnered by the block that included Obama’s speech. The remaining 3 averaged 2.69mln, and the net’s 6-7pm look at the day’s events delivered 2.17mln, good for 10th. A pair of WWE content hours on USA fought its way to a 2.83mln avg, and apart notched the 2nd and 5th positions. Completing the top 10 were USA’s “Burn Notice” (2.47mln), TNT’s Lakers-Cavaliers telecast (2.31mln) and A&E’s “Intervention” (2.18mln).
