Seeking to highlight the role of women in the story of African-American culture, Burrell’s
“Celebrating Women Behind the Scenes” campaign featured women who were not necessarily household names but nevertheless contributed to well-known and widely watched projects. Targeted promotional efforts focused on a full integration of message, media and important cultural celebrations that provided a meaningful connection with the audiences. And the campaign also engaged potential customers to Xfinity’s X1 service, especially its Black Film & TV destination.
