Xfinity’s celebration of Black History Month included a campaign to promote the African-American creators responsible for bringing Marvel Entertainment’s cultural icon superhero “Black Panther” to life. A specially curated collection of movies and shows featured African-American talent within the science fiction and superhero genres on Comcast’s X1 platform, and TV/online video, radio, digital banners, social media and print rounded out the effort. The campaign drove significant traffic and reinforced the theme of growing African-American representation in entertainment.
