NBCU Content Distribution worked together with Comcast and Cox to bring the beautiful game into retail stores in an effort to promote tune-in to the 2022 FIFA World Cup. An immersive activation allowed customers to insert themselves into a video featuring clips of iconic goals with Andres Cantor’s iconic “Goooool” call in the background. Before each event, NBCU provided pre-promotional support in the form of custom on-air spots, radio scripts and pre-event banners designed to drive customers to the participating retail locations.
