ESPN launched the #VStrong social media campaign as part of its 15th annual V Week, the network’s annual fundraising campaign in support of cancer research. And boy did it pay off. The campaign helped ESPN generate a record-breaking $13.35 million for the V Foundation, surpassing the previous record total of $8.8 million that ESPN set in 2019. #VStrong resulted in 2.1 million total engagements, over 78 million impressions and an ESPN-record-setting $25,000 in donations solely through social platforms, nearly 4x the previous V Week social total.
