As Cable One continues to expand, so does Niemann’s role at the cable operator. She juggles everything from investor relations to media relations to internal communications. She is also responsible for creating Sparklight Cares, a program that embodies the company values: Do Right By Those We Serve; Drive Progress; and Lend A Hand. Through a partnership with the Arbor Day Foundation, Sparklight Cares has planted more than 100,000 trees across its 21-state footprint. She also created and launched a Chromebook program that has provided 1,200 devices to Title I schools in Cable One communities. Niemann also led the initiative during COVID-19 to donate $150,000 to Meals on Wheels as well as 21 separate donations to local food banks in the states the company serves.
