Tony Krueck

Krueck knows a thing or two about scaling obstacles. He’s an avid mountain climber and a kidney cancer survivor. When Cox’s launch of wireless service ran into hurdles, he never lost his cool, even when litigation delayed the rollout. Krueck and his team used the extra time to introduce more capabilities for launch day, including the ability for existing lines to add new devices. With Cox now a year into mobile, he is focused on building awareness of the product, including putting together private targeted offers to subsets of customers.

What emerging industry trend are you most excited by and why? Convergence. Consumers want access to connectivity everywhere. Converged connectivity can eventually provide that—inside and outside the home.

What celebrity would you hire for your company and why? Ryan Reynolds. Everything he touches turns to gold. He’s proven to be a very popular spokesperson to drive fast growth.
