Tonia O‘Connor

Recently promoted to oversee all Univision’s revenue streams, O’Connor has an exciting year ahead of her. It’s one that currently includes distribution spats with Verizon and Charter. Over the past year, O’Connor has led company strategy to expand the distribution of its content through new partnerships and business models, growing the reach of the UCI portfolio of brands to new audiences and consumers. She’s recently closed deals with partners including CenturyLink-Prism TV, Cable One and Comcast. O’Connor also has continued to highlight the need for diversity and female empowerment in the industry, but she says greater improvement can be achieved by making “a serious public commitment to putting women in the C-suite, the boards and positions of influence and the discrimination will go away.”
