Wyatt created the El Rey Network Diversity Council, an alliance of Latino advocacy groups focused on diversity in media. She has taken a leading role in not only promoting diversity, but monitoring the industry’s progress and identifying institutional steps that could help forward the conversation. In addition to establishing an internship program, she works with El Rey’s production team to ensure the Latino-focused network stays well ahead of industry standards when it comes to employing individuals form underrepresented groups.
