The Onyx Collective team joined forces with BMF and the Black, female-owned experiential agency Conversate collective to put on a dazzling premiere event. The experience was inspired by the first episode of “The 1619 Project” and took guests on a multi-sensory journey to present a place where Black artists, food and music were celebrated. A second event, held at the Grammy Museum, brought in as many as 220 guests as Executive Producer Nikole Hannah-Jones participated in a live conversation with RAPSODY.
