Jamieson continues to carve out A+E’s highly lauded creative path. She recently shepherded the critically acclaimed History/ A+E Studios limited series “Roots” from development through premiere, working with the producers and talent on set to ensure stellar quality and authenticity. In addition, she’s developing upward of 40 projects, and was the one to greenlight series “Six” and “Knightfall” for History. She’s also responsible for working through many of the Studios’ overall deals with top-tier talent, including Carlton Cuse and Rachel Winter, and will continue to build the studio as an industry powerhouse with its portfolio of high profile projects. “Women rock,” she says. “And I relish the full spectrum of ambitious, caring, flawed, heroic women on TV, in all their complexity.”
