Suzanne Norman

CMT’s most senior female executive, Norman’s role at the network continues to expand. She oversees day-to-day operations and business objectives, and also manages CMT’s digital and social teams, which have experienced an 11 percent uptick this year. Norman is an invaluable leader, as well, as the network looks to expand its fan base through its four lanes of programming: music, unscripted, docs and scripted, including the upcoming January season and network premiere of “Nashville,” and eight-part series “Million Dollar Quartet” that pro- files the birth of rock n roll. “Nashville” showcases “strong women in varying stages of their careers and life,” she says. “It’s so refreshing to see a show where women challenge the established boys club and win.”
