Stephanie Gibbons

Gibbons is a strategic innovator and her particular approach has elevated the promotional strategies behind FX’s original series to overwhelming success. Gibbons has so many inspirations, she couldn’t choose just one to share a meal with. “I would grab the large 8-top table in the back of the restaurant and fill it with Sylvia Plath, Charlotte Bronte, Jane Goodall, Michelle Obama, Doris Goodwin, Anne Boleyn, Joan of Arc, and Eleanor Roosevelt,” she says. “After dinner, Lincoln pulls up a chair and joins us for coffee and Sambuca.”

Who is your favorite current female TV character and why?
I’m kind of crazy about Sam Fox, played by Pamela Adlon, in the dramedy “Better Things.” She’s a perfectly imperfect work in progress—a raw soul facing life with passion, kickassery, and full-on humanity.

What famous woman, living or deceased, would you like to have dinner with?
I would grab the large 8-top table in the back of the restaurant and fill it with Sylvia Plath, Charlotte Bronte, Jane Goodall, Michelle Obama, Doris Goodwin, Anne Boleyn, Joan of Arc and Eleanor Roosevelt.  After dinner, Lincoln pulls up a chair and joins us for coffee and Sambuca.

Best advice for relieving stress?
A volcano hot lavender oil bath while watching Rachel Maddow. You can’t fight it when your capillaries fly open and the tension pours out. Plus, it always feels good to know Rachel is up in the watchtower taking care of business.
