Made for the blind/visually impaired and deaf/hard-of-hearing communities, the Spectrum Access App delivers on its commitment to make entertainment more accessible to all. It’s a real passion project, with Charter purchasing the original technology from ActiView and using mostly volunteer talent internally to build out the app. It contains a library of audio description and closed captioning content that can be paired with the user’s movie or show watching experience, is compatible with any platform, and is available for free to anyone in the U.S.
