Discovery found a tasty, refreshing way to promote Shark Week 2021—the Sonic Drive-In Shark Week Slush. Multiplatform marketing included coloring activity sheets, email blasts and point-of-purchase activations. Sonic Drive-In’s Shark Week Slush also was featured on Discovery’s late night talk show, “Josh Gates Tonight,” as well as within the discovery+ mid-form series, “The Daily Bite.”
