We exceeded our goals measured across metrics including media value, distributor participation and overall pay TV subscriber reach.”

What professional accomplishments are you most proud of from the past 12 months?

I was most proud to create and spearhead Ovation’s inaugural “Stand For The Arts Awards” initiative this year. America’s only arts network, partnered with Spectrum for the inaugural Ovation+Spectrum Stand for the Arts Awards initiative. As part of the partnership, Ovation contributed $60,000 to support local arts, cultural, and educational organizations in six Spectrum markets: New York City, Los Angeles, Austin, Columbus, Syracuse and Raleigh. Throughout October and November, the awards will be presented to the recipient in each market by representatives from both Ovation and Spectrum. State and local government officials as well as members of the local press will also be invited to attend. Spectrum will air public service announcements highlighting the partnership with Ovation and the value of local arts organizations in their communities. Organizations were evaluated based on three criteria: their level of community outreach and engagement, their ability to create inclusive access to artistic programming, and their innovative approach to arts education and skills development. In addition, facing sizable start-up challenges, I was very proud to create and launch a solid foundation for the Ovation Partnership Rewards program. We exceeded our goals measured across metrics including media value, distributor participation and overall pay-TV subscriber reach.

As more content goes direct to consumers, to what degree does affiliate marketing overlap consumer marketing in your company?

Before greenlighting a project, I’ve always looked at content distribution marketing efforts through a broader lens across all media platforms with direct consumer impact.

What do you do for fun outside of work?

When I get the opportunity to break away from my screens, you can find me on a mountain bike climbing canyons in So Cal, spending time outdoors with my family, or planning my next adventure to some remote alpine destination.
