Though Tuzon was certainly an integral part of the Fox Networks family coming into 2018, her involvement in 21st Century Fox’s agreement to sell Disney key film and television businesses notched up her position even more. So much so that Tuzon recently solidified an elevated position with “New Fox,” the core Fox company that will remain after the merger. She’s been intimately involved with the deal every step of the way, serving as the legal authority for the larger merger team. Beyond that, she led the operational business aspects of the transaction and continues to guide the transitional planning for the businesses moving forward. When she’s not carefully dissecting every part of the Disney deal, she participates in a working group examining the Me Too movement and the intersection of race, class and gender.
