As lead negotiator for broadcast network affiliation distribution agreements—and domestic distribution of Paramount’s owned-and-operated television stations, channels and networks—Hopkins secures carriage and distribution deals by reminding partners of the power behind Paramount’s portfolio of brands, networks and streaming services. Be it live linear content or on-demand content, Hopkins’ deals ensure audiences can find their favorite shows across as many satellite providers, cable operators, telco services, internet video providers and other viewing platforms as possible.

Do you personally still have a traditional cable video package? Absolutely. It remains the only package where you can get bundled broadcast TV, financial news, national/local sports and general entertainment. The price point is well worth it.

Book, movie or TV series that greatly influenced my leadership style: “Wooden on Leadership,” by John Wooden. Two things quickly come to mind: A team represents its leader and if you want to be successful, do not confuse being busy with getting the right things done.
