My prediction for direct-to-consumer video is… The content industry will ultimately have to rationalize its business model. Consumers are already beginning to feel subscription fatigue and will recognize that there is value in content aggregation.

What do you think will be the biggest game changer to come from 10G? The effectively unconstrained supply of bandwidth and capability will continue to enable innovations we have yet to imagine. Light field displays and immersive content are just the beginning.

What item in your home or office most “sparks joy” in you? My array of “interesting” cameras: stereoscopic, plenoptic, panoramic, and 360 degree.

Biggest challenge facing the industry? Finding new revenue growth opportunities as the fixed and mobile broadband markets begin to saturate.
