All hail the Queens. The Nat Geo team utilized a breadcrumb strategy to give fans small elements of the series with one release at a time to create a curious buzz. “Queens” invited press, influencers and more to film festivals screenings and panels that highlighted the show’s female-led production team. It also leaned on wide press who have covered past exploration and natural history in addition to cross-promotion synergy across Disney parks, brands, Natgeo Magazine/Books and ABC broadcast coverage.
