A dark and creative way to activate the fanbase, USA Network’s Purge Shopping Channel was an online and social media-driven faux shopping network, featuring enthusiastic TV hosts hawking in-world merchandise for dedicated “Purge Preppers.” Intended to make viewers think in real terms about how they might handle the idea of a Purge night, the content also offered more dedicated viewers real-world prizes, culminating in an effective and thought-proving campaign.
