This ongoing campaign shines a light on CNN en Español’s mission to tackle discrimination and intolerance. Storytelling is at the heart of the initiative, which includes in-depth report, live events, documentaries and more. Viewers can share their stories in social media with the hashtag #proyectoserhumano #noaladiscriminacion. It kicked off in April with a special hosted by CNN en Español anchors Juan Carlos Lopez and Maria Alejandra Requena. Other elements include an official theme song, “Yo no soy diferente,” from three-time Latin Grammy winner Gian Marco. Proceeds from the sale of the song are being split evenly between three different nonprofit organizations fighting for inclusion: Latinos Progresando, GLAAD, and The U.S. National Committee for UN Women.
