After the New York Nets hired a new General Manager and new head coach after the 2015-16 season, Nets Magazine decided to focus wholly on this new leadership, producing an in depth look at the new head coach Kenny Atkinson. Travelling to his home town and interviewing family and old mentors, the story of a Long Island native “gym rat” who bled basketball his whole life emerged. With touching personal stories and remembrances, Nets Magazine brought the fans fully into the life of their new coach.
